A couple of weeks ago, a big bus filled with Japanese tourists parked across the street. All these Japanese women lined up behind the leader, a man, the only man in the group. And he marched them across Chapman into our store, Country Roads. He looked familiar and I remembered that he had brought another tour bus to the store about this time last year. The women scattered in every direction. They were shopping for mostly smaller items. I was amazed at how many of these woman bought the little snow globe with the Christmas tree. It was very cute, as we helped them with their American currency and they laughed and giggled. But for some reason, many of them were intrigued with this item. And the second most popular purchase by many were also from Ms. Anderson's "Sweet Peas Designs". She sells small lotions in tubes which our friends from Japan just loved. If you haven't been in lately, I hope you make a point to stop by. As you would expect, Ms. Anderson has some great displays and also there is so much holiday merchandise, you would be amazed!
